Heather Cooper is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate under the supervision of Kimberly Adkins, MS, LPCS. Heather earned her Master of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University. She is presently pursuing her Doctorate of Human Services from Capella University.
Heather embraces an integrated approach to therapy that includes person-centered therapy and cognitive behavior therapy, both of which are evidenced based treatments and grounded in theory. She enjoys working with adolescents and young adults who struggle with depression, ADHD, anxiety, trauma, and school-related issues. Heather lives in the Bluffton area with her husband and two children. In her spare time she loves spending time with her family, going to the beach, and sailing.
